The J. Harper Kent Charitable Foundation has provided over $9 million in student aid since their founding in 1976. Half a century later, they wanted to modernize and digitize their operations so they could better serve New Brunswick students in their academic endeavors.
The new J. Harper Kent website is designed to be straightforward, informative, and accessible for both students and Foundation admins. Thanks to The Kitchen, the Foundation can ensure their site always provides the most up-to-date information and deadlines to students and their parents.
In addition to a new site, we re-evaluated their entire student application process mid-project and implemented a custom and streamlined Student Web Portal. The goal was to replace a slow, manual process with a digital solution that results in a better experience for everyone involved.
This secure portal lets students safely and easily manage their scholarship and bursary applications online, while also simplifying the review process and ensuring the Foundation has full backend control at every step.
