Websolutions.ca is looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Full Stack Web Developer (Front & Back End).

The candidate will be integrated into our development team to work on a variety of projects including custom websites, web applications, CMS development, bespoke software solutions...and more!

We are looking for a self-starter who loves to learn, thinking through problems and building custom solutions with the rest of our passionate team.

What you'll be doing:

  • Build and maintain high-quality code that meets requirements, and performs optimally for a wide variety of large- and small-scale websites, web apps, etc.
  • Transform beautiful front-end design into a lean and efficient final product
  • Define rigorous architectural principles while assisting other developers in best practices for web / application design
  • Advise on technology implementations for websites, apps and new products.
  • Collaborate and consult with cross-functional teams to bring the very best technology solutions available to our clients and their brands.
  • Assist and participate in the continued education of technical knowledge for our company
  • Develop new solutions integrating third-party tech such as Google or Facebook
  • Solve interesting and challenging problems alongside a great team
  • Handle tasks related to Google Tag Manager, Analytics, Search Console and on-page SEO

Key factors to your success:

  • College/B.Sc. Computer Science/Engineering or related degree/diploma
  • 2+ years of programming experience
  • Expertise in Ruby on Rails, MySQL, JavaScript, PHP, jQuery, ReactJS, MVC Architecture
  • Deep knowledge of modern web standards like HTML5, CSS3, JSON
  • Self-motivated, passionate and hard-working with the ability to perform optimally under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to handle changing priorities, manage multiple tasks, and work within specific time frames / deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to adapt to new concepts and technologies.
  • Strong commitment to quality software development.
  • Bonus: experience with AI, mobile development, automation, data visualization, Cloud hosting technologies, DNS, domain management, etc.
