Web / PHP Programmer
Job Description:
WebSolutions.ca Inc. is looking for a qualified PHP Programmer to join their team. The candidate should be knowledgeable in PHP and related programming languages. The ideal candidate should have experience in the development and maintenance of interactive web content in a client-server environment. As a PHP Programmer, you will assist in the design, development, and deployment of new database-driven web applications, and maintain several existing web applications.
Requirements:
University degree in Computer Science or combination of college diploma and suitable experience.
- Must be well versed in object-oriented programming techniques.
- Strong knowledge of PHP 5.0.
- Possess strong understanding of relational database structures. MySQL knowledge and experience a definite asset.
- Must have advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript programming.
- Excellent analytical, technical aptitude and problem solving skills.
- Strong communication (verbal and written), time management skills, fast learner, self- motivated and comfortable taking initiative and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to meet deadlines.
- Team oriented with good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers and project management team.

Web / Graphic designer
Requirements:
- The candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design/Fine Arts/Communication Arts or equivalent plus 0 to 3 years of experience.
- Candidate should be experienced in using the following applications:
o Adobe Photoshop
o Adobe Illustrator
o Adobe Flash
- Strong CSS, JavaScript, HTML, and knowledge of ActionScript
- Strong attention to detail, including proofreading/grammar.
- Strong knowledge of user-interface design, web page layout and navigation methodology.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to meet deadlines.
- Experience working on multiple projects with competing resources and deadlines.
- Excellent writing, speaking, and communication skills.
- Ability to learn and communicate technical/scientific information.
- Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
- Ability to work cooperatively in team environment.
- Advanced Flash ActionScript knowledge is a plus
